Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish Part 2: Review & Swatches
Today's Mani Monday will be to review a couple more shades from the Revlon Parfumerie polish line. I reviewed a few more shades here. This came out in stores a little over a month ago, and just as a reminder, this is the second go-round of scented polishes for Revlon. I didn't buy these for their scent, but I liked the colors so picked these up during a BOGO sale.

Flower Cosmetics: Review & Swatches
Flower Cosmetics first came into stores about a year ago, and it's the brain child of Drew Barrymore. Being the curious individual I am, I figured I'd pick up a few items to test out. She has a full range of products available, which is rather amazing for a new product line. I just stuck to a few eye and lip products. These are available only at Walmart as far as I know.

Stila L.A. Lady Set: Review & Swatches
Stila is finally becoming a more known brand in my opinion. It's a great brand that has a variety of lovely items. I've done a video review of the items in the past if you're interested as well. This is a set with a smattering of their permanent products in one set. It has 5 full-sized items for $20 total. It's a total steal considering the individual items are often more expensive than that. You can find the set online (only) on Ulta.

Clinique Whole Lotta Candy (Chubby Sticks) Set: Review & Swatches
Continuing on with the Clinique love that's been going on is the review of some Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms. I'm not hundred percent sure, but I do believe this might be the origin of the jumbo lip pencil craze. This actual set is still available as of this post if you want it, as well as in most places that sell Clinique products.

Chapstick Hydration Lock Review
I always have some sort of balm hanging around wherever I am. I literally have one form or another in each bag, car, and multiple areas of my room. Ya, I'm a little addicted. Chaptstick is one of the brands I first started using as a kid, and as an easy "go-to" form. I still have various flavors hanging around. So imagine my excitement in finding a new kind at the end of 2013? In comes the Hydration Lock with CoQ10.

Skincare Sunday: Vichy Mini Spa Review
For the first Skincare Sunday of the year, I'm going to review some Vichy items that's included in a Mini Spa Kit. This kit no longer exists, but the items in it are all individually available for sale. It has 3 deluxe sample items, 2 foil pack samples, and a headband.

Clinique All About Shadow Quad: Review & Swatches
I'm a huge fan of gifts with purchase, as I'm sure you all are, and Clinique is one of the brands that have the most value with their gifts with purchases. This All About Shadow Quad is one of those gifts with purchase, but the shades are part of the permanent collection and available as single shadows.

The Balm Instain Blush Set: Review & Swatches
I've been lemming for The Balm Instain Blushes ever since they've come out (last year maybe?), but just never got around to getting them. Especially since Sephora no longer carries the brand, it's just not as easily accessible. Also the price of these individually are a little steep. So when I found this set of full-sized blushes at Kohl's for a fraction of the cost ($34 for the set, $22 each), I was excited. This is a limited edition set (for an unspecified period of time), just to let you know.

NYX Butter Lip Balm: Review & Swatches
The newest to the NYX family (on the heels of Butter Gloss success) are the Butter Lip Balms, the stick-form balm cousin to the shiny gloss. The shade range of these balms are less than the gloss version. There are 8 colors available currently.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm: Review & Swatches
The new thing from Revlon in the lip department are the new Colorburst Balms. There are two finishes, and today I'll be reviewing the Matte Balm. There is a good range of colors from light to dark to brights. These are to be part of the permanent collection as far as I can tell, so even if the displays have been picked over in your local drug store, you should be able to find them restocked soon.

Almay Shadow Softies: Review & Swatches
The newest eyeshadow technology from Almay are the Shadow Softies. A cream to powder formula that comes in varying shades of shimmer and matte. I found these hidden away in a corner at my local drug store.

Jane Cosmetics Reintroduction: Eye Product Review & Swatches
For us "older" ladies, we remember Jane Cosmetics as being an affordable drug store brand that had a myriad of cosmetic offerings. It was on par with Wet n Wild and NYC. Pricing was similar, and quality (pre-revamping) was similar. Then it all faded into nonexistence. Now that quality of drug store makeup has improved, Jane Cosmetics is making another go-round at an Ulta near you.

Neutrogena Intensive Moisture Wrap Body Treatment Review
It might be a little too early for a uber moisturizer to be part of your arsenal, but there is a time and place for it year round for those with sensitive skin. Such a moisturizer is the Neutrogena Intensive Moisture Wrap Body Treatment. This lotion is part of the Norwegian Formula product line. I find them to be VERY moisturizing, and it lives up to the claim that this product is richer than other lotions. Claims are that it is a fragrance free, concentrated healing treatment that contains a "unique glycerin-rich complex that instantly wraps skin" and allows it to heal from the inside for even the most uncomfortably dry skin.
I find this to be great year round if you swim at all. That's why summer is just as great of a time to use it for us sensitive skin folks. I find that the chlorinated pools easily dry out my skin to the point I get super itchy (no surprise) and my eczema patches like to peak out. Just by applying this after I shower (post pool), my skin is as if it never touched the drying chlorine. It's a little greasy feeling on normal (non-dry skin), so keep that in mind. However, despite the potentially greasy factor, it sinks into skin quickly and appears to absorb well.
Bottom Line: Perfect for the dry skin months, or those who impose dry skin on themselves (like swimmers). Those who are not prone to dry skin wouldn't like this as much.

Maybelline Color Whisper Permanent Collection Part 1: Review & Swatches
To continue on with the Maybelline love I have recently, here are the permanent shades of the Color Whispers. Yes, I do own and like other brands of makeup, but since I have these handy, might as well knock these posts out. It's been in my "to-do" pile for a long bit. I've reviewed a limited edition shade prior to this post here, but I didn't want the permanent collection to go to the wayside. It's just as exciting and lovely as the fleeting colors that come and go with each season.

Skincare Sunday: Michael Todd True Organics Acne Discovery Kit
For today's Skincare Sunday, I'll be reviewing one of the Michael Todd True Organics Discovery Kits. This is the Acne Kit, which isn't currently available, but all the individual items along with other kits are available here. I'm still bummed that Michael Todd no longer makes cosmetics, but that's not the point of this post.

Bare Minerals Fired Up Set: Review & Swatches
This is a lovely palette I actually got for Christmas, but I hadn't gotten around to reviewing it. The great news is that it's still available online. Bare Minerals has always been a quality brand, but for many years the loose powder formula only philosophy may have turned off many people. Now that they've considered a broader range (non-loose powder) of makeup, it's user friendly for all preference types. With a full face palette (just add a mascara) including brushes, plus a clutch (that I personally wouldn't use), this set is a steal for $39.

Skincare Sunday: H2O+ Sea Results Kit Review
I was trolling the aisles of Ulta when I came across this little H2O+ Sea Results Kit. Apparently this kit of deluxe samples is $29.50, but marked down to $18.99, I couldn't resist trying it out. I've seen H2O+ products around, but never made the plunge to try some out. But now's a good a time as ever.

Maybelline Clearly Spotted Nail Polish: Review & Swatches
It's Monday, and time for a new mani. I've been on the hunt/excited to try the new Polka Dots nail polish line from Maybelline. I was good, and also wanted to see how this applied prior to going crazy with the entire line of polishes, so I stuck with a staple. The black and white polka dots of Clearly Spotted. These retail for $3-4 depending on where you buy it.

Lypsyl Honey Berry and Extreme Cold Sore Relief: Review
I actually received these two products for free from Influenster as part of winning a brand challenge (along with the original version) several months ago, but sometimes I'm a little late in reviewing things. I reviewed the original LypSyl when I got it as part of my Natural VoxBox from Influenster. However, my general thoughts regarding the original formulation is different from these two, so I figure it warranted another review.
