Lumene Bright Skin Radiance Nectar Review

Winter-time seems to be the season that we want bright skin the most, but it ends up being rather lackluster and dull. Why not have a serum that's meant to be brightening? I've always been curious about skincare (and makeup) products from other countries. Seeing Lumene in drug stores has always grabbed my eye. I figured I'll try out the Bright Skin Radiance Nectar for size.

Elf Studio Products: Review & Swatches

Here for your enjoyment today are few random items from Elf's Studio Line. These are not necessary new items (some are newer than others). They're just new to me. Just one of those, I was in Target and found myself by the Elf products, and this is what I ended up with.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure: Review & Swatches (#CSMTKO)

For today's Mani Monday I'm going to review a few Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure shades that I received from Influenster Voxbox to review. This isn't my first experience with this line (prior review here), but it's the first time I've tried out their cream shades. You can check out all the goods and info here.

Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer: Review & Swatches

It's February (which is crazy), and it's getting closer to Valentine's. Whether you're single or you have a special someone, you want to look hot. You need a lip product that won't flee at the first sign of a drink/food. In comes the Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer, the American version of the Apocalips. Now these have been floating around Walgreens for awhile, and I just seem to keep getting more. With the affordable price tag, and frequent BOGO sales, it's a little hard to pass up.

January Ipsy Glam Bag: Review & Swatches

The January theme of the Ipsy Glam Bag is 19 Reasons. The number indicates the number of possible brand items available in your bag, along with the discounts/offers available. It also indicates the many reasons why 2014 will be a good year. The bag itself is interesting. It works for a weekend toiletry bag, and that's about it.

Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm

The Almay Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm came out towards the later half of 2013. Somehow or another it got lost in the legions of new lip products that came onto the market. I figured I'll give it some time in the limelight in this review. I have two colors from opposite ends of the spectrum: Pink Pout and Just Plum.

OPI Pepe's Purple Passion: Review & Swatches

Another polish for Mani Monday is OPI Pepe's Purple Passion. Now this is an "oldie, but a goodie" category of polish since it came out in a collection from way back when (maybe fall/winter 2011?). I found it randomly at Ulta this last summer, and past collections of OPI polishes are a little easier to find in my opinion. For example, you can go here.

Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish Part 2: Review & Swatches

Today's Mani Monday will be to review a couple more shades from the Revlon Parfumerie polish line. I reviewed a few more shades here. This came out in stores a little over a month ago, and just as a reminder, this is the second go-round of scented polishes for Revlon. I didn't buy these for their scent, but I liked the colors so picked these up during a BOGO sale.

Skincare Sunday: Mario Badescu Products

Sometimes trying samples of different products from the same line is all you need to help you choose the products for you. For today's Skincare Sunday I'll be reviewing items from Mario Badescu that is formulated for my skin type based on a quiz I took on their website. The best part is that you can receive these samples for free to try out.

Milani Statement Lipsticks: Review & Swatches

As spring is fast approaching, and the makeup collections are revamping, new shades of old favorites start to emerge. Milani had quite the year with these Statement Lipsticks that came out last year. I find myself always gravitating towards the Milani section at the drug store, and one of the reasons is because of this lipstick. These are four of the initial shades I purchased.

L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder: Review & Swatches

L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder foundation isn't anything new on the market, but it is a product that has gotten mixed reviews. I figured it's time to add my two scents on this. Better to do some housekeeping and catch up on my posts (as long as the products are still available to purchase), then let it go to waste.

Benefit Rockateur: Review & Swatches

Benefit is a brand that is rather well known for its many Box Blushes. A new one comes out every year or so, and some catch my eye, others don't. The newest edition that came out towards the end of last year has brought quite a bit of hype. It's the Rockateur blush.

Mally Beauty Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner in Sailor: Review & Swatch

I haven't tried too many Mally Beauty products, although curious about them. This is the second item I've tried out (check out the Shadow Sticks). I actually got this as part of a Birchbox. This is the Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Eyeliner in the shade Sailor.

Flower Cosmetics: Review & Swatches

Flower Cosmetics first came into stores about a year ago, and it's the brain child of Drew Barrymore. Being the curious individual I am, I figured I'd pick up a few items to test out. She has a full range of products available, which is rather amazing for a new product line. I just stuck to a few eye and lip products. These are available only at Walmart as far as I know.

Stila L.A. Lady Set: Review & Swatches

Stila is finally becoming a more known brand in my opinion. It's a great brand that has a variety of lovely items. I've done a video review of the items in the past if you're interested as well. This is a set with a smattering of their permanent products in one set. It has 5 full-sized items for $20 total. It's a total steal considering the individual items are often more expensive than that. You can find the set online (only) on Ulta.

Clinique Whole Lotta Candy (Chubby Sticks) Set: Review & Swatches

Continuing on with the Clinique love that's been going on is the review of some Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms. I'm not hundred percent sure, but I do believe this might be the origin of the jumbo lip pencil craze. This actual set is still available as of this post if you want it, as well as in most places that sell Clinique products.

Clinique Lashes Top to Bottom Mascara Set: Review

Although I mentioned the gift with purchase item I got for purchasing this set in an earlier post (All About Shadows), the Clinique Lashes Top to Bottom Set is what I set out to get originally. The set is available (as of the time of this post) here (it is available in most retailers that sell Clinique items). It's a mascara sampler with 3 deluxe sample mascaras, and full sized Bottom Lash Mascara.

Square Hue January Box: Review & Swatches

Today's Mani Monday is the review of the first SquareHue box of the year. This January SquareHue box is the London Passport Collection. This is the second month of the Passport Collections. Last month was New York, if you're curious. I must say I was slightly surprised when I first opened the box since it was VERY reminiscent of last month's box.

New-ish Jordana Items: Review & Swatches

These are some of the new offerings from Jordana from last fall/late summer (except the mascara). I find these items in a limited display at my local Walgreens. I haven't seen these sold elsewhere, but they must be. The Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara has been raved about for some time now, and the new jumbo lip pencil and eyeshadow pencils definitely caught my eye. The best part is that the most expensive item is $3!

Chapstick Hydration Lock Review

I always have some sort of balm hanging around wherever I am. I literally have one form or another in each bag, car, and multiple areas of my room. Ya, I'm a little addicted. Chaptstick is one of the brands I first started using as a kid, and as an easy "go-to" form. I still have various flavors hanging around. So imagine my excitement in finding a new kind at the end of 2013? In comes the Hydration Lock with CoQ10.

Skincare Sunday: Vichy Mini Spa Review

For the first Skincare Sunday of the year, I'm going to review some Vichy items that's included in a Mini Spa Kit. This kit no longer exists, but the items in it are all individually available for sale. It has 3 deluxe sample items, 2 foil pack samples, and a headband.

Clinique All About Shadow Quad: Review & Swatches

I'm a huge fan of gifts with purchase, as I'm sure you all are, and Clinique is one of the brands that have the most value with their gifts with purchases. This All About Shadow Quad is one of those gifts with purchase, but the shades are part of the permanent collection and available as single shadows.

The Balm Instain Blush Set: Review & Swatches

I've been lemming for The Balm Instain Blushes ever since they've come out (last year maybe?), but just never got around to getting them. Especially since Sephora no longer carries the brand, it's just not as easily accessible. Also the price of these individually are a little steep. So when I found this set of full-sized blushes at Kohl's for a fraction of the cost ($34 for the set, $22 each), I was excited. This is a limited edition set (for an unspecified period of time), just to let you know.

Finger Paints in Sparkle in the Sky: Review & Swatches

Last of my holiday/winter collection polishes to review is from the Finger Paints Enchanted Winter Collection. The only polish that truly caught my eye is Sparkle in the Sky. The whole collection is supposed to be a textured polish collection, but I completely missed that concept.
