Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara: Preview, Review, & Swatches

The Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara is a product I got from Influenster to try out and review. As stated in prior posts, just because I got it for free does NOT mean that I won't give my honest opinion. This mascara should be coming out in stores near you this month, and some of you may have even seen it already.  This mascara is another fiber mascara with a special "Grow Lash Complex" that helps your eyelashes lengthen with continued use.

I've used this mascara for little over a month now, and feel pretty comfortable giving you my opinion on the use. According to the claims of this mascara, it's meant to give immediate length and volume to the lashes with the fibers, while the Grow Lash Complex helps to increase length of lashes overtime with it's conditioning powers.

I'm not a huge fan of fiber mascaras since they always tend to flake on me and create at least one fiber deposit on my lower lid/cheek. It drives me bonkers and I hate it. LUCKILY, this fiber mascara doesn't have that issue. No fiber flakes, and even better, my lashes are long and full immediately once mascara is applied. The mascara is a true black color, which I appreciate since that's not always the case with mascaras. I do have some smudging issues, but no more than other mascaras, and the formula is not too wet nor dry. However, application is a little tricky at first. I had some issues with my lashes clumping together due to too much product on the wand (which is plastic btw). Whichever set of lashes that I coat with mascara second, looks better and less clumpy. As I got used to using the mascara, the less clumpy the application. Now as long as I make sure and truly get the excess off the wand tip, I have no clumping issues.

Does it lengthen lashes? As I said I've used this for a little over a month and I still don't notice a major difference when I'm not wearing the mascara. Who know if longer use will create length? In general I don't put much faith in lengthening over time claims.

Below is the mascara swatch. I luckily have some visible lashes that are decently thick and medium length naturally. They exist. Of course I still need mascara (I feel naked without it), and I prefer the way my lashes look with it. If you compare my no mascara and Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara you can see that there is immediate length and volume added to the lashes. Bottom Line: I'm rather impressed with this mascara and I look forward to a waterproof version.  Also who knows? Maybe my lashes will grow the more that I use it.
