Milani Shadow Eyez in Brown Deluxe: Review & Swatch

It's always great to find similar products for cheaper.  The inner bargain queen in me wants more for less. Milani Shadow Eyez are the drug store copycat to the Urban Decan 24/7 Glide-on Shadow. It's an user friendly jumbo shadow pencil that can be used as a wash of color over the entire lid, or as a liner.  The dual function of this pencil makes it highly versatile.

Milani Shadow Eyez are meant to be a long lasting product that has 12 hour wear. I personally always wear primer under my eye shadows since they tend to get greasy, and in turn eye products fade away.  That said this lasted on my eyes on a very hot sweaty day without fading (over my primer), which can't always be said for other products.  I didn't notice any fading in color or intensity.  The product itself glides on smoothly without any tugging on the eyelids, and it is very easy to use.  It's perfect for those lazy days that you want to do your makeup quickly.  Also in terms of size, it's exactly the same proportion as a full sized UD 24/7 Glide-on Shadow as seen in the picture.

Swatch

Below is a swatch and comparison to brown Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow shades. As you can see it if plenty unique, making it a nice addition to your stash for a fraction of the price. Brown Deluxe is a warm brown with golden undertones.  It's a nice, rich, earthy color that applies smoothly.

UD Sin, Milani Brown Deluxe, and UD Juju
Bottom Line: This pencil is a great product. It has excellent color payoff, it's easy to use, and the color is unique.  It compares excellently with the high end version that it's mimicking for a fraction of the price.
