Ipsy May Glam Bag: Review & Swatches

Today we have the Ipsy May Glam Bag with the theme of Spring Fling, the third one I've gotten. Who doesn't like flowers and warming weather, and sunny goodness?  Too bad that's not exactly what's going on here. In any case, I want to start off by saying the I kinda dig the bag.  The colors speak to me. Also I know this is super late in posting, but I had a horrible work schedule this month.  The benefit of my tardiness is that I've actually tried all but one of the products.

Maybelline Color Whisper in Ravishing Pink: Review & Swatches

Like I did with the Revlon Lip Butter post, I'm reviewing a limited edition Maybelline Color Whisper prior to the originals.  Once again, since this is a time sensitive product, I wanted to review it for you before it leaves the stores. This color is in Ravishing Pink, and I found it on an end cap display in Walgreens during a BOGO half sale (end cap display picture after the jump). There are four colors total in this summer limited edition collection, and Ravishing Pink is one of the lighter shades available.

SquareHue May Box: Review & Swatches

I apologize for the late review of my May SquareHue box. I blame it on my horrible schedule this month.  As in it's messing my circadian rhythm up so much that I'm forgetting important things that I used to have no problems doing daily.  Now that I've had my rant, this month's theme is the Madonna Collection. It's filled with varying shades of pink.

New Revlon Lip Butters: Review & Swatches

These are 2 of the 4 new Revlon Lip Butter shades available from the summer collection. I'm being weird and reviewing some limited edition shades before ones from the permanent line, but things don't always work out the way you intend. I figure I should share my review before these are no longer available.

Essie Into the Cab-ana (Updated): Review & Swatches

Essie comes out with a lovely Resort Collection yearly, and they tend to be very nice colors. Resort Collection 2013 is no exception.  This year is a rather vibrant color selection, and Into the Cab-ana is no exception. It's a nice bright tropical water blue cream. It's lovely and bright without being loud and obnoxious.

Maybelline Blush in Coral Burst: Review & Swatches

Nothing says warm weather than orange blush to me.  So today I have a lovely bright orange blush from Maybelline New York in the color Coral Burst. This is one of the limited edition blushes that can be found on end caps and displays along with a lavender and bronze shade blushes.  I didn't really care for the other two, but I couldn't pass up an orange blush.

Maybelline Vivids Lipstick: Review & Swatches

Truly by now it should be no surprise that the Maybelline Vivid Lipsticks are the talk of the spring makeup line. It's the answer to all bright lipstick wearer's dream. Bright fun colors at fraction of the price that's on par with high end products. There are 10 shades to this line, which range from the Barbie Doll pink to fire engine reds. All are bright, vibrant, vivid if you will. There are new limited edition shades as well if you peruse the displays, but the core line is fabulous as is. I have 4 of the shades to share with you today.

Wet n Wild Mega Eyes Creme Liner: Review, Swatches, & Comparison

Since I did a review of the newer Wet n Wild cream/gel liner last month, I figured it would be helpful to compare to the the original. You can read all my thoughts on the On Edge Creme Liner here.  The color I have to review today is #886 or Black. If I remember correctly, these run for $2-3 wherever, Wet n Wild products are sold.

Revlon FX Nail Polishes: Review & Swatches

Heart of Gold FX and Celestial FX

Looking for a way to jazz up your nails? Could these two top coats be your answer? These came out earlier in the year, but seem to part of the permanent collection (I've seen them in the normal racks and it has a home). There is always a part of me that loves rainbows, magic, and unicorns, and the Revlon FX Nail Polishes seem to fill that urge.
