Maybelline Color Sensational Elixir in Captivating Carnation: Review & Swatches

Maybelline may be one of my most loved drug store brands (if my many posts are not a huge giveaway). So when I saw the display of the new Elixir, the liquid color balm, in the fall I got excited. I wanted to try it out, and see if the hype is worth it.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Pink Grandeur: Review & Swatch

Here is the last item from the Maybelline Gilded in Gold collection that has hit stores (or the last of the items I bought). It's the Color Sensational Lipstick in Pink Grandeur. There is another red color as part of the collection, but I thought I would stick to this one only.

New Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Gloss in Captivating Coral: Review & Swatch

Although I'm slowly converting to become a lipstick lover, for many years all I wore was gloss (and there's still a soft spot in my heart for it).  I saw a display of the Color Sensational Gloss and I knew I had to try it out.  There are 14 shades available, and these glosses range in price from $5.50-$8 depending on where you buy it. There were few colors that caught my eye, but since I have a smell issue with lip products, I just got captivating coral to try it out first.
